| Take I-71 North from Louisville. Take Exit 22 onto KY-53 NorthWest (left off the ramp). KY-53 continues for about 4 miles. Take a left onto US-42. Take a right onto KY-524 and continue for about 3 miles. The Westport General Store is on the right. |
Take I-71N to Exit 18 (Buckner) then left onto 393. Left at stop sign. Go through stop light. We are on your right! |
Take I-71N to Exit 14, Turn left to end at Hwy. 42 (Prospect). Cross over Hwy 42 onto Rose Island Road. Go to stop sign and make a left. You will end at the Ohio River! Siegs is over the hill in the water! |

Since the town of Westport was created in 1780 there has always been a Westport General Store except for a period between 1998 and 2003 when the store was closed. Will Crawford bought the store building in 2003 and revamped the concept and added a restaurant. Customers can still buy necessities at the store but the real center-piece of the Westport General Store is the upscale southern Cuisine. Guests drive from all around to sample their unique gourmet vittles such as locally raised Bison Rib-eye steaks topped with Tobacco Onions, Shrimp wrapped in Country Ham served with stone ground grits and collard greens.
The Westport General Store was the first restaurant in Oldham county with a full bar after alcohol sales were permitted in the county in 2004. Will Crawford uses local ingredients and products whenever possible in order to support the community and the local farmers. |
Steve O's is a family-oriented restaurant serving traditional Italian dishes like lasagna & chicken parmesan, as well as pizza, subs and great wings. We offer carry-out, dine-in service and catering. We ask for reservations for parties of 6 or more. |

Welcome to Big R's Bar-B-Q! Home of Award Winning Barbeque, where we cook it right, low and slow, the old fashion way.
Our pork butts and briskets are slow smoked on hickory and cherry wood for 12-15 hours. Our baby back ribs are seasoned with Big R's "dry rub" , then slow smoked for 4-6 hours. We use homemade rubs for all of our meats, that is one of the secrets to good BBQ. Another secret is the slow consistent smoking! In barbequing , there's no short cuts to hurrying if you want GREAT barbeque!
We often tell our customers that it takes us 12 hours to make them a great sandwich. Hope you enjoy!
